MASICORP's 250km Harrogate to Flamborough Bike Ride
17th and 18TH March 2012
Sandra Dodson, a MasiCorp UK trustee, has persuaded sixteen intrepid (mostly middle aged and mostly mad) cyclists to brave the Yorkshire elements and hills on a 250k ride across the county and back to raise funds for MasiCorp.
The ride has received sponsorship from local builders Kent Building Developments and Yorkshire solicitors Chadwick Lawrence; overnight respite is provided by Bempton House B&B.
Peter Dodson, Sandra’s husband, who is organising the ride says “We’ve have had an amazing response and thrilled by everybody’s enthusiasm to raise funds for MasiCorp. This is a massive effort for all taking part; there are some experienced cyclists, but most of us are only occasional cyclists who need to do a lot of training; it’s like doing the Cape Argos one day, the Jo’burg Momentum the next day and them some!
