Please join us as a volunteer – we have
a great team of people and many interesting and rewarding programmes
in
which
to work. We can help you find a programme or project where you
can help make a real difference to the lives of those we serve
in Masiphumelele.
We can help you arrange something to suit your timetable – some
of our volunteers work many hours every week, some just a few.
We have volunteers who work with us throughout the year and others
who come and go. We can be very flexible.
We can help you find a role that makes use of your experience
of life and work, your academic or professional qualifications
or something new you would like to learn. Whatever work we help
you find, we can promise it will be rewarding because it is helping
others to help themselves.

We need your help to fund our work. We want
to do more – the
needs of the people in Masiphumelele are great – but no
mater how much support we have from our team of fantastic volunteers
who deliver our projects and programmes, we cannot do it without
financial donations.
You can make a donation for a specific project or programme
or leave that decision for us to make. If you are resident
in South
Africa, USA or UK you can make your donation tax exempt.
We will always send you a receipt for your gift and we will
always keep you informed about the progress we are make with
our work.
So, please join our fantastic team of donors. You will always
be most welcome to come and visit to see for yourself how the
people of Masiphumelele appreciate what you have done for them.

You can be certain your donation will not be wasted – we
work very hard to control our costs. We have no salaried staff,
no vehicles, no premises. We do have administration costs, of
course – telephone and internet, stationery and postage,
local transport, fund raising and small honorariums for a few
volunteers who work very nearly full time. In all, these administration
costs come to less than 10% of our programme and project expenditure.
